Our Swimming Holiday Program is a great way for your child to enjoy the water over the school holidays in a fun and educational environment.

The Knox Leisureworks Swimming Holiday Program is a great way for your child to enjoy the water over the school holidays in a fun and educational environment. In these programs, your child will fast track their learning of water safety and development of their swimming skills.

The program features an intensive water safety and swimming program running over five consecutive days. School aged students will have the opportunity to participate in 45 minute classes and infant and preschool students will be able to participate in 30 minute classes. 

Every child who participates in the Swimming Holiday Program will also receive a special Swimming Holiday Program certificate.


What does the Swimming School Holiday program cover?

Water Familiarisation

Especially important for beginners, our program aims to help students become familiar with aspects of water and improve their confidence in the pools.

Water Safety

An extremely important learning point in Australia, the water safety aspect of the program will cover pool rules, safe water entry & exit, skills to float and personal rescue skills.

Stroke Development

Aimed at improving stroke technique and ability, each student will be assessed on their competency and will run through a variety of lessons aimed at improving current strokes and learning new technique.

When does the holiday program run?

Holiday Program Dates

The holiday program typically runs in the warmer months, toward the end of December and in early January. Please check back at a later date for confirmed details on when our next program will be running.


Class Times:

2-3 years Minnow: 8:30am, 10:00am

3 years - School Age Tadpole (no previous lessons experience): 8:30am, 9:00am, 9:30am, 10:30am, 10:45am Sardine (able to swim/ play independently): 9:00am, 11:00am Salmon (strong competency in swimming strokes): 9:15am

School Age 5 levels of ability available, where Octopus = lowest and Dolphin = highest Octopus: 8:30am, 9:15am, 10:00am, 10:45am Sardine: 8:30am, 9:15am, 10:00am, 10:45am Salmon: 8:30am, 9:15am, 10:00am, 10:45am Tuna: 8:30am, 9:15am, 10:00am, 10:45am Dolphin: 10:00am

Cost:

$72.20 per person, payable at Customer Service prior to the start of the program. Payment methods include cash, credit card or EFTPOS.
